The Montreal Canadiens could be down a defenceman when they return to action on Tuesday.
Jayden Struble missed Monday's practice and is listed as day-to-day with an upper-body injury, the team announced.
Struble, 24, has suited up in 19 games, collecting four assists.
The left-shot blue liner from Cumberland, R.I., also has 32 penalty minutes and is a minus-three.
The Habs' next three games all come against Canadian opponents as they host the Ottawa Senators and Winnipeg Jets in a back-to-back on Tuesday and Wednesday before heading to Toronto to face the Maple Leafs on Saturday.
